At The Breakup Pillow™, we want you to love your order. If something isn't right, we're here to help.

This Refund Policy explains return eligibility, exchanges, cancellations, preorder refunds, damaged products, and other refund-related matters for purchases made through The Breakup Pillow website.

30-Day Return Window

Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be unused
  • Be in original condition
  • Be free from stains, odors, damage, pet hair, excessive wear, or signs of use
  • Include original packaging when reasonably available
  • Be returned within 30 days of delivery

Returns that do not meet these requirements may be denied.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we may refuse returns of products that have been used, slept on, washed, damaged after delivery, or otherwise altered from their original condition.

The following may not be eligible for return:

  • Used pillows
  • Used pillowcases
  • Gift cards
  • Final sale items
  • Clearance items marked non-returnable
  • Items damaged by misuse, abuse, accidents, or improper care

Preorders

Certain products may be sold on a preorder basis.

Customers may cancel preorder purchases at any time before shipment for a full refund.

Once a preorder has shipped, standard return eligibility rules apply.

Estimated preorder shipping dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

If The Breakup Pillow LLC is unable to fulfill a preorder, customers will be notified and issued a full refund.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before shipment.

Because most orders are processed quickly, cancellation requests cannot be guaranteed once an order enters fulfillment.

If an order has already shipped, it may no longer be canceled and standard return procedures will apply.

To request a cancellation, contact support@thebreakuppillow.com as soon as possible.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photographs showing the product and packaging

We may request additional information in order to evaluate the claim.

If approved, we may provide a replacement, store credit, partial refund, or full refund depending on the circumstances.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

Breakups are stressful enough. Missing packages shouldn't be.

While shipping carriers operate independently and delivery timelines cannot be guaranteed, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to assist customers with lost, damaged, or delayed shipments whenever possible.

Customers should contact support@thebreakuppillow.com promptly if a shipment appears lost or significantly delayed.

Return Shipping

Unless required by law or approved due to an error on our part, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method when returning products.

The Breakup Pillow LLC is not responsible for return packages lost in transit.

Refund Processing

Once a return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval or denial of your refund.

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used during checkout.

Financial institutions may require additional time to post refunded funds to your account.

Processing times vary by payment provider.

Chargebacks

We encourage customers to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Many issues can be resolved faster through our customer support team.

Initiating a fraudulent chargeback after receiving products or services may result in account restrictions and additional recovery efforts.
